Servers – Downtown

We are looking for a few more experienced servers to work in a lively downtown brewery and full-service restaurant. Events and conventions have begun and we are looking for candidates ready to work with our experienced staff, ready to handle high-volume in individual sections with a team approach. Our service staff represent the quality of our craft beer and food and make up the backbone of our local operation.  Pay estimate is based off base wage + tips

Responsibilities:

• Setup sections and prepare for the shift
• Running side work to ensure the restaurant is prepared
• Know the menu and daily specials
• Greet guests in a prompt manner
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Work as a team with other servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment

Skills:

• Proven restaurant serving experience
• Hands on experience handling cash and other payments
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Teamwork and communication
• Craft beer knowledge or a willingness to learn
• Experience with ALOHA or similar POS systems a plus
